will
present its final film in our “Water Series” by hosting a special screening of the award-winning documentary film:

Beyond the Mirage
The Future of Water
in the West

Friday evening April 21, 2017 at 6:30 pm

Following the 1-hour film, two U of A scientists who appear in it will give us a brief  update on the current western water situation and also share some thoughts about  how water and environmental concerns relate to their personal faith perspectives.

Beyond the Mirage vividly tells the story of how Arizona and our neighboring western states are closely  bound together by water. The film “stands as both witness to the enormous challenges for water in the West, and testament to the resolve of those seeking a way forward” in the wake of a 17-year droughtLearn more at beyondthemirage.org

The film will be preceded by an optional potluck. Meatless (vegetarian/vegan) offerings are encouraged. (If you like, bring your own plate and cup to reduce waste.)

Everyone is welcome & invited to attend,
whether
or not you bring a dish for the potluck.

If you do bring a dish, please bring your food to the PAC dining room (Building #7) by 6:00-6:15 pm to allow time for serving & seating before the film begins.

The program will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.
